Terms of use

1. Purpose

Soplany is a platform connecting clients with professionals (beauty, wellness, primary healthcare without medical data, legal, consulting) that allows appointments to be booked online. These terms govern the use of the soplany.com website and the Soplany mobile apps by clients.

2. Free for clients

Searching for establishments, creating an account and booking appointments are free for clients. Booked services are paid directly to the professional, at their own prices as displayed on their listing.

3. Client account

Booking is possible with or without an account. An account lets you find your appointments and favourites and leave reviews. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential. Soplany may suspend an account in the event of abuse (repeated fake bookings, inappropriate content).

4. Bookings and cancellations

A confirmed booking constitutes a commitment to attend the appointment. Each establishment sets its own free cancellation period (24 h by default). Cancellation is done online via the link received by email, from the client account or the app. Repeated no-shows without cancellation may lead to account restrictions.

5. Soplany's role

Soplany is not a party to the contract between the client and the professional. The professional remains solely responsible for the performance of their services, their prices and their legal obligations. The information on the listings (opening hours, prices, photos) is provided by the professionals.

6. Reviews

Only clients who have actually had an appointment can leave a review. Reviews must remain courteous and factual. Soplany may hide a review that is manifestly fraudulent, abusive or contrary to the law, where applicable after it has been reported.

7. Personal data

The processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy. No health data is collected: do not mention medical information in booking notes.

8. Liability and availability

Soplany makes every effort to ensure the availability of the service but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Soplany cannot be held liable for indirect damages related to the use of the platform.

9. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any action before the courts of Brussels.
